Discomfort Dressing

One of the many things I liked about wearing dresses all the time is that there was always something to just throw on - nipping out for coffee on a Sunday morning, buying all the things from Home Bargains, having an evening walk*. So I want some easy outfits. Turns out having some easy outfits means doing things that aren't naturally easy, so today I wore a combination I wouldn't tend to wear.

I decided to wear some jogging bottoms (I have never jogged in my life). I bought these from the charity shop bnwt, originally M&S from the charity shop a few months ago for around the house, but why not wear them for out and about? Teamed today with a shirt, from Vinted, originally Zara, and a purchase from the weekend, a tank top £2.99 RSPCA shop in the Northern Quarter Manchester. Plus my middle aged woman white trainers.

I walked to the town, did my shopping, and sat outside with a coffee, once again the Fashion Police did not come to me, I even had conversations with one stranger and one person I know and absolutely nothing happened, other than being comfy.

*maybe not that last one

  1. I like your outfit. I'm not very good at deciding what to wear, choosing comfort over style, mostly. Xx

    1. Comfort is very much what I'm going for. My new clothes aren't necessarily "flattering" but I really enjoy wearing them

  2. That outfit looks very comfy. Across the pond here in Canada we call the top layer a vest. You look very snazzy.

    God bless.

Each to their own goes without saying.
