From The Charity Shop Recently

Here's a little round up of some of the things I've picked up from charity shops over the past fortnight, I don't think I need to point out how expensive they can be these days, do I?

Orange shoes £6, Animal Care. I think £6 for these were a bit expensive, but they're orange shoes, so what can you do?

Khaki trainers, no brand, £6 Barnardo's. I'm taking mainly black and khaki clothes on holiday, these should be good for sightseeing purposes. They're very light, which is ideal as we're going by train.

Socks, 99p, Age UK. They're socks, to go with my sandals.

A pot, £5, cat charity. The guy seemed a bit bemused that this was a fiver, but he'd charged that because his niece donated it and told him it was worth it. I love blue sludgy pots.

Threads £6, Brian House. There was also a needle case kit in with this stuff, but l prefer to leave needles lying around and find the one I need when it jabs into my arms or feet.

Two art books by the same author, one was £8.99 from Oxfam, the other was a quid from Animal Care.

Finally, picked up this morning from the £1 at Barnardo's

A Paperblanks Asterix journal. The Chap loves Asterix and I spotted this on my way to pay for my trainers. Still available to buy for as much as £17.99. What a delight.

Each to their own goes without saying.
