Long story short, I wasn't feeling like myself, I bought a load of new clothes, mixed them with a few bits I already owned and felt much better.
I have spent the last bit of time taking pictures of it all but there is just no energy to create a lovely collage and go through it all, I mean do you care, I can't imagine so. I've gone for olive green, navy, orange (of course) and burgundy/berry type colour. The haul consists of socks, two vests, three coats, boots, shoes, a bag, a bangle, three pairs of trousers, a frock, a few jumpers, some make up and a ton of skincare. I've spent about £400 so far.
I take my hat off to full, or even part time content creators, I can't even be bothered to create a collage or two out of twenty-something photos, if they can earn money from creating a picture or video, edit, upload and put themselves out there, then good luck to them. They earn their money, it is faff I just can't face.
I bought this jumper, £6.50 from a local charity shop. I'm going to wear it with these trousers
They're navy, cropped, tapered cords from M&S, I think they were £37.50. I'm going to wear my navy knee length bamboo socks (gotta keep warm) with footwear like this
Flatform shoes £45 M&S, DMs £55 Ebay. The shoes are burgundy, the boots are blue, hard to tell because it's like the flipping night here. I'll carry one of these bags and maybe wear a watch and some earrings
From New Look, maybe around £28. Unless it's raining and then I'll wear this one
Trespass "Audrey" coat £39.99 from M&M Direct, looks nicer on I have to say.
You get the idea. As it happens today I'm at home in the gloom, so I'm wearing cosy things, and waving
The jeggings I already owned and are from Next, the jumper is originally Roman but I bought it from a charity shop for £7 and my fluffy slippers were from Tesco. Ignore the mess, if there is any.
The New Look coat is fabulous. I wish I could find one like it!
ReplyDeleteLovely selection of clothes and nice to see you too! Catriona
ReplyDeleteYou've bought some lovely things. I particularly like the jumper with orange flowers and the quilted coat. Sometimes you've just got to splash out on some new stuff.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever seen you in a picture before!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your new purchases and I prefer to see them individually like this than in a collage- collages, everything is too small to be really able to see the details! I also can't be bothered to do that and if I do, I just do it in Publisher and save it as an image! Those M&S cords are great!
Oh it's so nice to read your blog posts!! And I really like the clothes planning.
ReplyDeleteToday I'm wearing a 'new this season' top from Morrisons (our nearest supermarket) and jeans I've had so long there is a replacement button!
They are a 14 that I wear in the hope I'll get into some 12s someday. Xx
Great clothes! I like them all. And how lovely to see you!
