Weekend Read

 I picked this book up at a charity shop a couple of weeks ago, during a time where I am completely fed up with blokes, so what better than to read a book which centres around a completely domineering man, who feels hard done to despite having everyone walk on eggshells around him and his ego?

I loved it, in all the frustration and annoyance at this dysfunctional, largely unlikeable family tip-toeing around their incredibly unpleasant father/ husband on the weekend of his comeback/ career defining art show. A very good reminder that we teach people how to treat us, and that we can still want the very best for those who frustrate the heck out of us and drive us absolutely bonkers.
