I'm sentimental.
I'm sentimental and that's why I still have old style me clothing hanging in the wardrobe that I just can't get rid of. There are even three things in there that remain in order for one item to work. The thing is, I don't really want to wear that item, but I keep it just in case.
Two navy jackets, love them both, hardly ever wear them, don't want to declutter them, so they're out of the wardrobe and into the out of season drawer.
This pinafore is the thing I keep that means I keep the three other things. I don't know why I won't donate it, it's in the drawer, but I know it needs to go.
I bought this to wear at the charity shop at Christmas, but didn't.
To make room in the drawer for the things I just can't quite get rid of yet, something had to go, here's what I chose.
A black underdress, I don't really wear dresses now so I don't need to keep more than one underdress. A Joules scarf I bought for when we went on holiday in 2022, love it, never use it. A top that looks like it's moving on this picture, say no more. Finally, one of the just in case shirts.
And the lesson I'm shown over and over again is that most of the stuff I want to get rid of is stuff I bought second hand. Maybe one day I'll learn, after all I gave up drinking!

Each to their own goes without saying.
