In The Gloom

front

It's very dark again this morning, but as I finally finished my small quilt last night I didn't want to wait.

It's the first quilt I've made just for myself, and it has taken an exceptionally long time to get to this point. This is the second time it's been bound as I just didn't like the stuff I used first time round, but when I saw brown with white spots I knew it was right for me.

For my 40th birthday my friend sent me a little frog patch to remind me to be childlike sometimes, so I decided to add it to the corner of the quilt front

Now all I need is some cold weather as it's soooooo warm.

    1. Thanks Mum, now it's finished I really like it. It clashes with Dan's green and orange quilt too so they look great together.

    1. Thanks. If I have the patience to make a quilt then I think most people will. There are some great blogs and YouTube videos, I don't think I'd have finished any of mine without them.

  7. Fabulous! I made Andy a Tour de France themed lap quilt as an anniversary gift one year. I had never done one before and I had exactly one weekend to do it ... it was not brilliant, but he loved it all the same x
